  • Capt. Billy Moore, Havre de Grace, Md.  Moore was Captain of the shooting scowl RECKLESS, and the father in law of carver Bob McGaw. This canvasback hen has very old gunning repaint that has flaked to bare wood in some areas.  Thin neck crack at base of head that goes completely through, but head is very stable.  The bird has two stencils on the bottom.  Holland & Wrightson, two families that jointly owned a general store in Talbot county, Md. and Townsend, a Talbot co farmer who gunned the Miles River.  Great old decoy with a lot of history.
