This sturdy decoy was made by the younger brother of Charles Nelson Barnard and has been repainted by C. N. Barnard. The brothers were from Havre de Grace, MD and produced their decoys around the turn of the 20th century. This decoy was in the rig of the famous aviator and aerospace pioneer, Glenn L. Martin, and it bears his GLM brand. It was used in the Upper Chesapeake Bay.
