Edwin Pearson, Havre de Grace, Md. 1863-1932.  Canvasback hen in old paint that is flaking in spots to the bare wood or white undercoat.  This bird has carved nostrils and the typical V carved at the base of the lower bill.  Slight separation at neck seam, but head is very secure.  Still has the original 5 nail dogbone weight with 2 D's stamped on it and an old gunners tag that is not readable.
