William Heverin (1860-1951) was one of the most prolific decoy makers of the Susquehanna Flats.  He lived his entire life in Charlestown, MD, where he made his living hunting, fishing, and producing thousands of decoys.

This drake is in wonderful, bone dry original paint, worn to the wood in some areas, but with excellent patina.
