  • Standley Evans, Elkton Md 1887-1979.  Canvasback drake in what appears to be original paint, bare wood showing through where paint is rubbed.  Original tack eyes and leather rigging loop, weight has been removed.  Solid decoy, head is firmly attached with no neck cracks, a few light drying cracks in the bottom.  Branded in the breast with a K for Odem Keene.  Odem was from Havre de Grace Md, was an early member of the duck police, and ran a bushwhack rig.
